About Hobbistas
Hobbistas is a modular tracking system built for privacy, clarity, and control. Here's why it exists, how it works, and what makes it different.
What's implemented
These are the features that exist and work right now. Not a roadmap—actual functionality.
Track games, anime, manga, books, movies, and TV shows. Add items manually or import from supported sources.
Update hours played, episodes watched, chapters read, or pages finished as you go.
Boundaries
These are the things we deliberately avoid. Your space stays calm because these features don't exist.
No feeds, no follows, no public profiles by default. Your library is yours. Community features are optional and off by default.
No leaderboards, no badges, no completion percentages shown to others. Track for yourself, not for comparison.
Our philosophy
Hobbistas was built because every other tracker felt like it wanted something from me—engagement, daily logins, content to feed an algorithm. I just wanted to remember which anime I dropped and why.
So we built a tool that doesn't assume you want to be social, doesn't push suggestions you didn't ask for, and doesn't track you for metrics. It's a personal space first.
Clean interface and fast entry. The basics stay front and center extras remain hidden until you need them.
Starts with you: organization, progress, and history. If you want to share something later, you decide what to send.
Roadmap
We're building in public. Here's what's done, in progress, and planned.
Unified personal library for tracking hobbies across media.
Track progress, statuses, favorites, and completion per entry.
The team
A small team of hobbyists who love games, anime, and movies and want to build the best tool for everyone else.
Creator of Hobbistas Hub. I built it because I wanted a simple place to organize all my hobbies—games, anime, manga, movies, TV shows, and books—without jumping between different apps. And since I often talk about the things I love anyway, I decided to include a space for short writing and personal reflections around my hobbies.
