How every account starts
- Your library, backlog and progress — visible only to you
- Recommendations computed from your own ratings and genres, nothing else
- Share a read-only link to your backlog when you want, with an expiry date
- No feed, no follower count, no profile anyone can look up

Games, anime, manga, movies, TV and books share a single backlog, a single history and one set of statuses. Each keeps the progress fields that actually make sense for it — hours played, episodes watched, chapters, pages.
Bring your existing lists
Connect Steam and your games arrive with playtime. Connect MyAnimeList and your anime and manga arrive with progress and scores. You are not starting from an empty page.
Our philosophy
Why Hobbistas exists
Hobbistas was built because every other tracker felt like it wanted something from me — engagement, daily logins, content to feed an algorithm. I just wanted to remember which anime I dropped and why.
So the defaults are the opposite of what the category usually assumes. Nothing is public until you say so, nothing is suggested by strangers, and nothing is designed to pull you back in. These are not features we have not built yet — they are the ones we decided against.
No engagement notifications
No daily reminders, no streaks to protect, no "you have not logged in" emails. The only thing that will ever notify you is a reply to a support ticket you opened yourself.
No scoreboard
No leaderboards, no badges, no completion percentage shown to anyone else. Dropping something after two episodes costs you nothing here.

Hobbistas is made by a very small group of hobbyists, scratching our own itch first. There is no company behind it and no investors to answer to.

Creator of Hobbistas Hub. I built it because I wanted a simple place to organize all my hobbies games, anime, manga, movies, TV shows, and books without jumping between different apps. And since I often talk about the things I love anyway, I decided to include a space for short writing and personal reflections around my hobbies.
