There are atomizers you try and think, “Nice.”
And then there are atomizers that show you clearly that MTL isn’t one single experience it has shades, character, and philosophy.
The Berserker B3 is one of those.
Coming from the Brunhilde MTL, I can confidently say the differences are noticeable. Not necessarily better or worse but different in ways you feel immediately.
First Impression: More Tool, More Practical
What I appreciated from the very first moment is that the Berserker B3 feels like a true daily MTL tank.
The top filling system makes a real difference.
If you don’t want to deal with disassembly or unnecessary steps, this small upgrade becomes very noticeable in everyday use.
It feels practical. Functional. Efficient.
Airflow Control Without the Hassle
One of the biggest advantages of the Berserker B3 especially for beginners is the airflow system.
Yes, it adjusts from the bottom.
But most importantly:
You can change airflow without removing the coil, unlike the Brunhilde.
That alone makes the Berserker far more beginner-friendly for someone still learning rebuildables.
“The Berserker B3 isn’t the most flavorful MTL tank I’ve tried.
But it’s the most practical daily driver especially coming from a Brunhilde.”
Building: Easy, But One Critical Detail
The deck is straightforward and generally easy to build on.
However, there is one crucial point:
Wicking.
The cotton must sit properly inside the juice channels (“wells”), or you’ll get leaks.
And I say this from experience:
It took me 2–3 attempts to fully understand what it wants.
It’s not difficult but it’s something you need to learn.
The Downside: Limited Cotton Visibility
Unlike the Brunhilde, you don’t have the same visual access to your cotton.
You can’t easily see what’s happening inside the chamber.
For some users especially beginners that can be a disadvantage.
But… It Doesn’t Burn Like the Brunhilde
Here’s something interesting.
Even without visual access to the cotton, I didn’t experience the same issue I had with the Brunhilde:
After about a year of use, the Brunhilde almost always developed a slightly burnt side.
With the Berserker, that didn’t happen in the same way.
The wicking felt more balanced.
The Draw: Tighter and More Cigarette-Like
If there’s one thing that stands out immediately, it’s the draw.
The Berserker B3 is:
Tighter
More restricted
More cigarette-like
For someone looking for a true MTL replacement, it’s excellent.
The Brunhilde, on the other hand, is slightly more airy and smooth.
Flavor: Brunhilde Still Wins
As much as I appreciate the Berserker’s practicality and tight draw, I have to be honest:
The flavor is slightly inferior compared to the Brunhilde.
The Brunhilde delivers a fuller, more premium flavor experience especially with tobacco liquids.
The Berserker is solid. Respectable.
But not the flavor king.
What I Liked About the Berserker B3
Top filling system that makes daily refills much easier
Very tight, cigarette-like draw (ideal for MTL replacement)
Airflow control without removing the coil
Stable wicking without the one-sided burning I experienced with Brunhilde
What’s Not Perfect
Flavor is good, but Brunhilde remains more premium
Requires proper cotton placement to avoid leaks
No direct visual access to the cotton
Who Is the Berserker B3 For?
The Berserker B3 doesn’t try to be flashy.
It’s an atomizer that says:
“You want tight MTL, practicality, and no daily drama? I’ve got you.”
I recommend it if:
You’re a beginner and want easier daily use
You want a very tight, cigarette-style draw
You prefer top fill and simpler airflow control
You prefer top fill and simpler airflow control
If you’re a pure flavor chaser…
The Brunhilde still holds the crown.
Berserker B3 vs Brunhilde In One Sentence
Berserker B3: Practical, tight, dependable daily soldier.
Brunhilde: More premium, more flavorful, more indulgent.
Final Verdict
The Berserker B3 doesn’t try to impress with extremes.
What it does, it does well:
It delivers a tight, cigarette-style MTL experience with practicality that shines in everyday use.
Coming from the Brunhilde, the Berserker feels more like a tool:
Easier to fill
Simpler airflow
More beginner-friendly for rebuildables
It doesn’t win in flavor the Brunhilde remains ahead there but as a daily tank, it’s excellent.
